The Institute of Agricultural Economics, Belgrade, took its part on the XXVII Meeting of agronomists, veterinarians, technologists and agro-economists, organized by the Institute PKB “Agroekonomik”. The meeting was held on 20-21st February 2013 in the hall of Agricultural Corporation Belgrade in Padinska Skela. On the first conference day, which subject was “Crop farming, vegetable growing and agro-economics”, a member of the Chairmanship was director of the IAE, Belgrade, academician Drago Cvijanovic, together with esteemed colleagues from the institute and the faculty (Professor Djordje Glamoclija, PhD, Mile Ivanovic, PhD, Snezana Jankovic, PhD, Nikola Hristov, PhD). The researchers in the IAE Belgrade had several outstanding papers, which had been presented verbally or as a poster presentation.

At the Faculty of Agriculture in Zemun – Belgrade was holding the FIRST INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON LIVESTOCK BREEDING, in the period 8-10th November 2012, Zemun – Belgrade, Serbia.
The organizer was the FACULTY OFAGRICULTURE, UNIVERSITY IN BELGRADE.

THE THIRD INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM “AGRARIAN ECONOMY AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT – REALITIES AND PERSPECTIVES FOR ROMANIA”
11th- 13th October 2012., Bucharest, Romania.The third International Symposium “Agrarian economy and rural development – realities and perspectives for Romania”, was organized in period 11th- 13th October 2012., Bucharest, Romania. International scientific symposium has organized in cooperation of Research Institute for Agricultural Economy and Rural Development (Romania) with Academy of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences “Gheorghe Ionescu-Şişeşti" (Romania) and Balkan Scientific Association of Agrarian Economist (Serbia). Meeting was caused huge interest, which indicate on the actuality of
considered topics, both in Romania and surrounding countries. In the framework of the symposium were published 65 papers in the field of agribusiness, rural development, natural resource economics.
The symposium was attended by authors from Romania, Moldova, Spain, Hungary, Italy and Serbia.The symposium was opened PhD Adrian Turek Rahoveanu, director of Research Institute for Agricultural Economy and Rural Development, then a speech PhD Victor Moroz, director of the Institute for the Economy, Finance and Statistics, in Chisinau, Moldova, and remarks by PhD Gheorghe Sin and Ioan Nicolae Alecu in front of the Academy of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences "Gheorghe Ionescu-Şişeşti" from Romania. On behalf of PhD. Drago Cvijanović, director of Institute of Agricultural Economisc, addressed the participants Mr. Marko Jeločnik. After the introductory part, the authors present their work with a constructive discussion. In front of the Institute of Agricultural Economics, International Scientific Symposium attended by Mr Marko Jeločnik, Mr Velibor Potrebić, BSc. Svetlana Roljević and B.Sc. Marijana Jovanović.
