Vision:

Institute of Agricultural Economics, as the scientific-research organization in the field of social sciences - economy, should provide high-quality definition of the role and importance of multifunctional agriculture, rural development, and agri-food industry of the Republic of Serbia in the official documents and in practice, to contribute the closer cooperation among the most important participants and institutions, as the policy makers and holders of the sustainable agriculture and rural development in the Republic of Serbia, and to involve itself actively in international professional and scientific audience regarding the scientific, educational, business and technical cooperation and development of numerous of developmental projects (especially in regional countries and South-east Europe). 

Mission:

Mission of the Institute of Agricultural Economics comes out from the vision of Institute's further development, i.e. the continuous improvement of quality of research, analysis, studies and projects, education and training of the staff aiming to the best possible incorporation of agriculture and all in agriculture involved persons in general economic development of the country and international cooperation.
