Institute of Agricultural and Food Economics, National Research Institute from Warszawa (Poland) in period between 10th to 12th Jun 2013 have been organized Conference “The new solutions of the CAP 2013 + to the challenges of the EU member states agriculture”. Conference held in „Suchedniow“ in Hotel “Paradiso”.

The main idea of the Conference is to present the research results of the top representatives of research institutes and the leading authorities on the Common Agricultural Policy, especially in ensuring the EU competitiveness and food security after 2013,, sustainable agriculture, equal conditions of the competition in the single market agriculture and the competitive position of the EU in the global agricultural market.

Works at the Conference have been organized in seven planar sessions. Many eminent scientists have taken participation on the Conference work. Participants were from Austria, Belarus, Bosnia and Hercegovina, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Netherland, Italy, Japan, Lithuania, Hungary, Romania, Ukraine and Serbia.

During the three days numerous of present authors have considered all the aspects related to the main topic and gave their views on current issues. The delegation of the Institute of Agriculture Economics, Belgrade represented the Director of the institute Prof. Drago Cvijanovic, Scientific Advisor and Mr. Predrag Vukovic, a Research Associate.
