Delegation of the IAE, Belgrade in period between 11th to 18th July 2011 have been stayed in the City of Ferrara in Italy as part of their regular activities at the project EU.WATER – “Transnational integrated water resources management in emergency agriculture for control of European waters”. The aim of the visit was educational seminar which organized by the Research Centre of the University of Ferrara. The course participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with the measures necessary to conduct active policy planning, evaluation of the situation, capacity building, the latest developments in areas of GIS mapping, as well as the process of sampling soil and water and their chemical analysis. The course participants were from Ukraine, Moldova, Croatia and Serbia. In delegation from Serbia (IAE, Belgrade) were Predrag Vukovic, M.A. Research Associate (Project Coordinator) and Predrag Maletic B.Sc. and External expert on the project.

Research team  from  the  Institute of  Agricultural  Economics,  Belgrade, at  the  invitation of colleagues from the Agency   for Rural Development of Istria - AZRRI, attended the event under title  „Fostering innovation exchange in the agro food sector between Istria and Serbia", during  the  period 7-9 July  2011,  in  Porec,  Croatia. The  three-day event  was  organized within the  international  project  "Solutions and  interventions  for  the technological  transfer and  the innovation

On 22nd of June 2011, starting from 12 PM, in Martinci village - Mimoza Restaurant, was held a promotional event of the project TECH.FOOD - Solutions and interventions for technological transfer and the innovation of the agro-food sector in South East Europe regions, organized by the Institute of Agricultural Economics from Belgrade.

In Rajgorod in Mazuria, Poland in the period between 14th to 16th June 2011. held a seminar “EUROPEAN UNION FOOD SECTOR AFTER LAST ENLARGEMENT - CONCLUSIONS FOR THE FUTURE CAP” Seminar held in hotel ”Kineja”. Active participation in the seminar was taken by the Director of the Institute of Agricultural Economics from Belgrade, Prof. Drago Cvijanović Ph.D, scientific - advisor and Predrag Vukovic M.A., research associate. In the course of two days of work in three sessions discussed various aspects of this issue. Participation at the seminar took numerous representatives from the EU and many others. During the seminar host the National Institute for Agricultural Economics and Food, Warsaw, Poland organized a study tour of the lake system “Augustowska”.

During the period 16-17 June 2011, Coordination & Steering Committee meeting was organized in Vienna (venue of the meeting was Austrian Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management) by Austrian partner at the Project (AWI - Vienna). Mentioned event was attended by all partners from the Project consortium. The Institute of Agricultural Economics – Belgrade was presented by Ms. Bojana Bekic, Mr. Velibor Potrebic and Mr. Marko Jelocnik. 

Research team of the Institute of agricultural economics Belgrade was organized, as part of their regular activities on the project Solutions and interventions for the technological transfer and the innovation of the agro-food sector in South East regions - TECH.FOOD, a Transnational Focus Group TFG, under the theme title Food safety in meat industry. Event was held at the 27th May, 2011, in the Hotel Palace in Belgrade, Serbia.
