In period 15-17 of September 2010, Vladana Hamovic PhD, Bojana Bekic and Jovanka Ninkovic external expert of the Institute of Agricultural economics at the TECH.FOOD project, stayed in Athens and participated at the TECH.FOOD Project meetings. The meetings were held in the premises of the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Together with the Steering Committee Coordination Meeting at which Vladana Hamovic PhD and Bojana Bekic were delegates, there was also the meeting of the First Transnational Focus Group with enterprises from meat processing industry from Italy, Romania and Greece at the topic “Byproducts management and energy saving: the future of food industry”.
Serbia did not have its representative from the production but Mrs Jovanka Ninkovic, external expert of the Institute, introduced to all present participants the situation in Serbia regarding this topic by elaboration of her presentation “Treatment of animal by-products in Serbia”.
At the Steering Committee Coordination Meeting there was a discussion about present work, about activities of all project partners and about introduction of new team members from Austria instead of previous partners form Bulgaria. Also, there was a discussion about activities of all project participants in the following period.
